Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak on Tuesday warned the Hizbullah not to "test" Israel. "The soldiers of the Israeli army are watching everything that occurs near the frontier with Lebanon and I would not advise anyone to test Israel, which is the strongest country in the region," Barak told public radio. Barak made the remarks while on an inspection tour of the Lebanese border.
According to the report, the Israeli minister told parliament's foreign affairs and defense committee at a closed-door meeting on Tuesday that "Hizbullah continues to build up arms, with the help of Iran."
“Hizbullah, lurking on the other side of the border, is wary of firing at Israel at the moment, but continues to plot various schemes throughout the entire northern front,” said Barak. “Hizbullah is getting stronger, but so is Israel, which is the strongest nation in the region. I would suggest that no one of the other side of the border mess with Israel, for their own good.”
