Bahraini Prime Minister Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman al Khalifa left Manama Sunday heading to Damascus for a two-day official visit to Syria made at the invitation of Syrian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa Miro.
Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman is scheduled to meet with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and is due to hold talks with Dr. Miro on bilateral relations.
According to Qatar News Agency, a number of bilateral cooperation agreements are expected to be signed within the framework of the joint Higher Syrian-Bahraini Committee meeting. (Albawaba.com)
