A Bahraini man suffered serious injuries when his car crashed at high speed into a barrier outside the US Embassy in Manama, reported The Associated Press, quoting an embassy official.
There was no information on the reason for the car's speed and the driver's name was not disclosed.
Bahraini officials could not be reached for comment, but a US Embassy spokesman said they were investigating the incident, said the agency.
