Bahrain has signed a joint declaration of cooperation with US space agency NASA, reported the Gulf Daily.
The joint declaration called for regular meetings between specialists and departments to study and determine cooperation projects related to the application of geographic information systems to earth sciences and the use of artificial intelligence in remote sensing.
The paper said that the deal was signed in Washington by Bahrain University president, Mohammed Al Ghatam, and NASA’s assistant director for earth sciences John Schumacker – Albawaba.com
