Bahrain’s King Hamad held talks on Middle East peace on Sunday with visiting Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri, according to the BNA news agency.
The two leaders exchanged views on the "latest developments on the Arab and international scenes, notably in the Palestinian territories and the Middle East peace process".
In addition, Hariri and Bahraini counterpart Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman al-Khalifa reviewed means of strengthening bilateral cooperation in the "economic, financial and investment fields."
The Lebanese Prime Minister arrived in the Kingdom of Bahrain from Kuwait where he held talks on a "Paris II" aid conference for Lebanon.
Hariri is expected to travel on to France via the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Tuesday for talks with President Jacques Chirac on the proposed aid meeting. (Albawaba.com)
