The increasing demand for energy projects in Kuwait and throughout the GCC countries, have urged MESC Specialized Cables to enhance its’ position as a leading supplier of specialized cables and be “at the heart of every project”.
After the Effluent Water Project, Al Zour Distillation Plant, Replacement of NK Crude Oil Ecport, BS 131 and Subiya Water Distribution Scheme (Stage 1) and many other awarded projects in Kuwait, MESC Specialized Cables once again joined hands with SNC-Lavalin UK Ltd. and HEISCO and got awarded a Multi- Million contract to supply all the Instrumentation and Control Cables for the Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) GC-27 New Desalter & Light Crude Train Project in Kuwait.
This project covers the expansion of gathering center 27, located at Umm Gudair Oil Field in the west of Al Ahmadi and modifications to the light crude train and related mechanical, electrical and civil works. The project involves increasing capacity of the facility to 220,000b/d from 190,000b/d. The scope of works also includes construction of a new desalter unit and supply and installation of an effluent water separation facility.
