Palestinian President Yasser Arafat conducted discussions by telephone with Javier Solana, the E.U. High Representative for Common Foreign and Secretary Policy (CFSP) and with Joschka Fischer, German Foreign Minister, according to the Palestine News Agency.
The conversations dealt with the latest developments in light of the continued Israeli military escalation on the Palestinians, in addition to the “exerted efforts for stopping this escalation”. (www.albawaba.com)
