Arab health ministers urged international organizations to press Israel to stop the use of internationally-banned weapons against the Palestinians, reported the Kuwaiti News Agency (KUNA).

Concluding their three-day meeting at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo, the ministers urged the World Health Organization (WHO), ICRC and UNICEF to immediately intervene to stop Israel’s use of depleted uranium, bullets and poisonous gas, said the agency.

They also urged the three organizations to secure medical teams, ease the movement of Palestinian ambulances and work on lifting the siege imposed on the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

Regional health cooperation among Arab countries was also discussed during the meeting – Albawaba.com
