Fred Eckhard, Spokesman for the United Nations Secretary-General, announced Wednesday that Kofi Annan will meet with the leaders of the two communities in Cyprus Friday in Paris.
In his daily briefing, Eckhard said "the Secretary-General is scheduled to meet with the Cypriot leaders this Friday in Paris, along with his Special Adviser, Alvaro de Soto."
According to his provisional program, Kofi Annan will first meet with Denktash, then President Clerides, and subsequently he will have lunch with them, the Cyprus News Agency reported. (Albawaba.com)
