Organized by the French Institute of Méknes, the fifth edition of the International Festival of the Animation Cinema (FICAM) will take place from April 14 until April 20 in Meknès.
The organizers of the event note that within the framework of the festival an attribute will be paid to the French scenario writer, Jean François Laguionie, who will present his last film "L’Ile de Black Mor" ( the Island of Black Mor) in the opening of the FICAM. The program of the event also includes an attribute to the Frenkel brothers, the pioneers of the animation cinema in the Arab world. <i>Ajourd’hui</i> reports that Morocco will mark its presence with the animated movie "the Object Box," an educational series for children, which tell the history of objects used in daily life.
