Algiers police have developed, for this fasting month, a special prevention plan against serious and petty crimes.

"Material and human means have been set up in keeping with the security plan, to prevent and fight against serious and petty crimes", the press attaché of Algiers' police Djillali Boudalia said.

Regarding prevention, Boudalia underlined that "policemen have been mobilised in different public markets and entertainment places".

Instructions banning the parking in front of educational establishments have been given, he stated, recalling the repressive measures against road crimes.

Regarding the fight against serious and petty crimes, human and material resources have been mobilised to face this scourge which is spreading on Ramadan. (Albawaba.com)
