Albawaba.com has decided late Monday to halt receiving messages on its political forum after a war which lasted for three hours with Israelis who showered the forum with thousands of letters humiliating the Arabs and the Palestinians, in an attempt to crash the portal’s server.

Between 7.00-10.00 GMT, Albawaba.com’s programmers had to erase thousands after thousdands of these letters non-stop until it became clear that the influx would continue until the server was down.

Many of these messages included offensive photos to make them heavier on the forums' server.

At the beginnig of the offensive, alot of the messages posted insulting Arabs and Palestinian leadership were signed in the name of the 12-year-old Palestinian martyr Mohammad Durra, who was killed by the Israeli forces in cold blood in Gaza last week.

However, one of them advised his accomplices against insulting Muslims, or mentioning the name of Mohammad, as follows:

“Guys!

We came here to interrupt this forum with our posts, that's all.

Please, don't post anything about Mohammad or any other holy muslim subject. Don't forget that there are many muslims in this world who are normal people.

Although Albawaba has prohibited posting letters on the forums, it left samples of the messages for visitors to view – Albawaba.com
