ALBAWABA- The Al-Qassam Brigades have announced a successful ambush in Rafah, targeting an armored Zionist force. According to their statement, their fighters meticulously planned the ambush over several days, monitoring Al-Bahr Street in the Tal Al-Sultan neighborhood.

Early this morning, a Merkava tank passed over a specially prepared mine, resulting in its destruction and the death of its crew. The evacuation of the soldiers' remains and the tank wreckage took several hours.

In addition, the Al-Qassam Brigades launched heavy-caliber mortar shells at enemy forces stationed southwest of Rafah.

They also targeted an enemy command and control site east of the Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City, achieving direct hits. Reports indicate that two Black Hawk and Yasour aircraft were seen evacuating the dead and wounded from the Zaytoun neighborhood site.

Israeli media confirmed that five soldiers were transferred to Hadassah Hospital, with two in serious condition. Earlier reports also mentioned a significant incident in the Shaboura neighborhood of Rafah.

The Al-Quds Brigades claimed responsibility for targeting a Merkava tank and destroying another with a high explosive device in Shaboura.

They continued their assault by targeting two Zionist Eitan-type vehicles with Al-Yassin 105 missiles and eliminating several enemy soldiers at close range in the Shaboura camp.
