Al Masaood launches new lifestyle
concept store for water sports enthusiasts in Dubai
'Marine Essentials' is a 'one stop shop' for boat owners, divers, jet skiers,
wake boarders, fishermen – and all the family!
Al Masaood Marine, the Middle East's largest marine equipment supplier and a company owned by Al Masaood Group, one of the largest commercial organizations in the UAE, has announced during the Dubai Boat Show, the launch of 'Marine Essentials' store. The first shop of its kind in the UAE, Marine Essentials will open at the beginning of June 2008 in Al Qouz area and will cater to all water-based leisure activities offering everything water sports enthusiasts could ever need, under one roof.
Participating in one of the region's leading yachting and boating events, Al Masaood will exhibit its exceptional range of new marine equipments that add fun to the boating experience of the customers and enhance their marine lifestyle.
With 4000 square feet of floor space, the shop will carry the widest selection of water sports brands available in the UAE, including:
• Segway: Personal Transporter represents the next generation in personal transportation, targeting both leisure and business users in the maritime industry. The device is a great way to enjoy the ride while commuting to work, running errands, or just traveling a short distance to avoid traffic. It also brings added versatility by offering the possibility to ride it off-sidewalk terrains such as trails, bike paths or beachfronts.
• The SeaBob is a fun sport machine that offers unlimited thrills and action in water. It gives the opportunity to move through water like a fish either on the surface or at depth. The SeaBob is powered by a patented electric motor, drawing on rechargeable Li-Ion accumulators and driving an impeller jet propulsion system. The standard model puts out 2.4 kW (3.3 HP) and the Jet and Cayago models use the larger 3.6kW (5 HP) engine, capable of 20kmh.
• Argo is a reliable off-road vehicle that can accommodate up to six passengers, allowing passengers with its specially designed tires to effortlessly propel through the water. Whether it is for hunting or fishing, more and more users are discovering the numerous recreational benefits of owning an ARGO. Also, commercial users in the utility, natural resource and search & rescue sectors are increasingly coming to rely on the ARGO in the toughest off-road conditions.
• HSR-Benelli: One of the most innovative recreational and racing water activities.
• Volvo Penta, the world leader manufacturer for leisure boat engines, will offer a wide range of accessories that help to improve onboard comfort, safety and ease of use even further. In addition to all this, the shop will offer the new four-cylinder D4 and six-cylinder D6 high-performance marine diesel stern drive engines which feature the latest design in modern marine diesel engine technology.
• Quality Line: A complete series of marine accessories selected carefully and tested to meet the demands of marine needs. It offers a wide range of accessories that covers highly functional products to improve the boat experience and make life on board more relaxing.
• Bell Mann, Al Masaood will also display a complete range of Bellman's electric propulsion drives ranging from 2.4 to 50 KW which features a cutting edge Hybrid Diesel/electric drive system.
• Charlatte reservoirs: it compromises of pressure vessels with or without bladder for potable, raw, waste water or irrigation.
• Pumps: KSB pumps are full range of pumps, valves, automation equipment. The updated range of KSB pumps is able to handle all types pf wastewater in municipal, industrial and commercial applications.
