agility’s double win at the aeo excellence awards 2007
Agility has been honoured with two prestigious Association of Event Organisers (AEO) Excellence 2007 awards for its Fairs and Events (F&E) division in the UK.
The company picked up its fifth AEO Excellence Award for Exhibition Logistics in 13 years while Bob Clarke, Technical Manager, Agility Fairs and Event UK collected an individual employee of the year award in the Contractor/Venue/Organiser category.
The AEO Excellence Awards is the highlight event of the year for the UK’s exhibition industry, with companies competing in categories ranging from best show, best stand design and best venue, to name a few.
David Richards, Managing Director of Agility Fairs and Events UK said: “This win is recognition from our own industry for the hard work and dedication demonstrated by our team in the UK. Landing one award was great, however Bob Clarke’s win also highlights our commitment towards personal service on part of the each individual on our team.”
Forty three companies made the shortlist and an eminent panel of judges from the industry decided on the 15 winners in different categories. The winners were announced at Old Billingsgate in London recently.
“This year, the number and quality of entries has been high and it’s no surprise that our judges had a hard time considering each entry and deciding on a winner in each category,” said Hilary Lawson, AEO Director.
