Abu Dhabi National Hotels (ADNH), the leading diversified hotel, tourism, transport and catering group based in the UAE, today announced a record profit of AED 327 million for the first nine months of 2007; a 63 percent increase over AED 201 million earned during the corresponding period in 2006.
The financial report shows the hotels profit increased by 31 percent , catering services increased by 1.3 percent and transport division increased by 78 percent, while the general expenses and depreciation decreased by 17 percent.
HE Khalifa Nasser Bin Huwaileel Al Mansoori, Chairman of the Board of Directors, praised the company’s performance and attributed the impressive results to Abu Dhabi’s economic growth which continues to develop by providing a world class infrastructure in terms of having its own flag carrier – Etihad Airways as well as increasing and enhancing exhibitions in Abu Dhabi and the other emirates. ADNH Board’s strategy, the management and employees’ commitment, and the relentless support received from government bodies particularly the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) have also been instrumental in these achievements.
