A 62-year-old Sharon man, Brad Larson, was found dead in his home on Thursday in an apparent homicide, officials said.
A relative discovered Larson's body at his residence on 78 Deerfield Road, as confirmed by Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey and Sharon Police Chief Stephen M. Coffey.
Larson had sustained "obvious injury" and was pronounced dead, prosecutors disclosed.
Chief Coffey emphasized, "There will be obvious police activity in the area around that home through much of the day today." He also sought to reassure the community, stating, "Neighbors should be assured that, given what we know at this time, there is no ongoing threat to the neighborhood or the town related to this incident."
Currently, no arrests have been made. The investigation is underway, and authorities are working to gather more information.
