Dozens of IS militants wounded or killed near Baquba, Iraq

A security source in Diyala said that 22 elements from the Islamic State organization were killed and at least forty others were wounded in the artillery shelling on the north-east of Baquba.

He told the reporter of the National Iraqi News Agency that heavy artillery bombed gatherings for the Islamic State (IS) organization in Sensl villages, north of Muqdadiyah northeast of Baquba, while the IS marched a military parade to celebrate the graduation of a new group of suicide bombers.

He explained that the shelling, which was in accordance with the accurate intelligence, killed 22 elements and wounded at least 40 others, including prominent leaders in the organization.
