ALBAWABA - In the wake of Morocco's recent devastating 7-magnitude earthquake, Indonesia is now grappling with its own seismic event. A 6-magnitude earthquake rattled the northern region, near the Palu Gulf.
The US Geological Survey (USGS) pinpointed the quake's epicenter as 101 kilometers north of Sulawesi Island's Palu Gulf. The earthquake, measuring 6 on the Richter scale, was reported to have occurred at a depth of around 10 kilometers. Initial assessments indicate no reported casualties or significant damage. Notably, Indonesia had previously experienced a powerful 7-magnitude earthquake off Java Island's coast on April 14th.
