ALBAWABA - The Japanese government reported that a 6.0 magnitude earthquake jolted central Japan with no tsunami warning.
The earthquake struck off the Sea of Japan coast, rattling the same part of the country where a huge tremor on New Year's Day and its aftershocks caused widespread destruction, killing more than 200 people.
On January 1, a powerful 7.3 magnitude earthquake struck northern Japan, leading to significant power outages in Tokyo. Tsunami warnings were issued for the central and west coast regions, particularly Miyagi and Fukushima.
