5 Israeli soldiers killed in Gaza battles

ALBAWABA - Five Israeli armed forces died during battles with the Palestinian resistance group in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army announced.

According to the Ynet news website, a military statement revealed that four soldiers were killed in a booby-trapped tunnel in Beit Hanoun in northern Gaza.

Furthermore, an additional one was killed in battles in the northern part of Gaza.

According to the latest data, the total number of deaths among Israeli army forces since the ground operation has reached 43.

Israeli army started a ground operation in the Gaza Strip on Oct. 27 around 20 days after the start of the Hamas Military Group's Al-Aqsa Floods operation against Israel.

Battles between Israeli forces and Al-Qassam fighters are intensifying in the northern Gaza region. Heavy fighting is currently reported near Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza, while medics and patients are trapped inside with no place to escape.

medical aid group Doctors Without Borders issued a warning on Sunday: "If we do not stop this bloodshed immediately with a ceasefire or at the bare minimum a medical evacuation of patients, these hospitals will become a morgue."
