Organized by the Moroccan National Office of Tourism in conjunction with UNESCO, the 17th Moussem of Tan Tan will be held from 14 September until 18 September to celebrate traditional culture. According to an official statement by Koichiro Matsuura, the General Manager of UNESCO, Moussem of Tan Tan in Morocco serves as a "testimony of living oral and artistic cultures." E-marrakech reports that the Moussem of Tan Tan will be marked with traditional dance shows, camel riding races and exhibitions on traditional culture.
