Fourteen German firms are seeking partners in Egypt and other Middle East countries, according to the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
The chamber said in a statement, cited by the Middle East Times, that it will organize exhibitions for these companies to showcase their products in Cairo and Alexandria, as well as provide marketing, promotional consultation and market analysis.
Meanwhile, 50 Egyptian companies working in the foodstuffs industry will display their products in the biggest international food fair due to be held in Cologne next October, said the weekly.
Earlier this month, Germany granted Egypt a total of $105 million for developing infrastructure projects.
An official at Egypt’s International Cooperation said that the German assistance emphasizes the deep-rooted bilateral ties between the two countries, adding that the two sides discussed the establishment of several projects in Egypt during the joint commission meeting that were held last week in Germany – Albawaba.com
