13-Year-Old Palestinian Mohammad Da'das Killed by an Israeli Bullet

ALBAWABA - A Palestinian teenager was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers in clashes in the village of Deir al-Hatab, east of Nablus City, on Friday, Press TV reports. 

In a statement, the Palestinian Health Ministry identified the victim as Mohammad Da'das. It said the 13-year-old was shot in the abdomen and later died.

The social media has been rife with condemnation. The Palestinian teen was shot by an Israeli sniper. He, together with other youths were protesting the illegal Israeli settlement of Elon Moreh that was established on Palestinian land in Dar Al Hatab.

 Da’das was rushed to the hospital where doctors found that his heart had stopped. The child was announced dead a few minutes later, WAFA reported as quoted by the Palestine Chronicle. 

Mohammad Da'das was from the Askar Camp outside Nablus. The website adds that Defense for Children International points out at least 12 Palestinian children were shot and killed by the Israeli occupation forces in the occupied West Bank since the beginning of the year and until August 25.

Quds News Network reported the 13-year-old boy was murdered with weapons funded by the United States. In a tweet US Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib demanded that the US should stopping arming Israel.
