The prominent satellite broadcasting channel ‘Al-Ressalah’, signed a collaboration agreement in junction with ‘Batargi Medical College’, to announce and conduct pre-requisite entrance exams to Batterjie college and thus to profit from the generous appointed offer; to provide twenty complimentary scholarship to twenty deserving high school graduates from all over the Islamic world to study medicine for free. The winners’ contestants will be announced on the channel through “Al-Forsan” (The knights) program.
Dr. Tarek Al-Suwidan, General Manager, “Al-Ressalah TV”, clarified: ‘our primary goal in participating and airing the Knights Program is to provide the youngster Muslims with a spirit of leadership and commitment toward education and ethics.
We also like to encourage big-hearted constructive social and educational gestures that have a tremendous impact on building proper and solid Muslim societies’.
He added:’ We aim in this program to rightfully choose astute students to achieve highest levels of education to enable them Nobel awards in the future in the medical field, and to enounce them as prominent pioneers physicians globally.
The acceptance exams of candidates will be through “Al-Ressalah TV”, the knights program, and our website exams followed by a personal interview after which we select the best of twenty participants; ten males and females respectively.
On the same subject, Dr. Khalid Batterjie, Dean of Batterjie Medical College appended: we chose to partner with Al-Ressalah TV in this enormous project due to their seriousness and commitment to prevail in the Islamic world. The results of the entrance-exams will be announced on Al-Ressalah TV, through a twelve weeks aired show of forty five minutes duration.
This program is in affiliation with Topengen German University and approved by King Abdul- Aziz University of Jeddah respectively.
