ALBAWABA - Israel's far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir called on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to refuse a U.S. proposal to end strikes against the Lebanese group Hezbollah.
U.S. President Donald Trump said he had a "very good call" with Hezbollah to halt the fighting with Israel.
Trump's proposal indicates that "Israeli strikes on Dahiyeh would cease in exchange for Hezbollah refraining from launching attacks against Tel Aviv".
Israeli army continued its offensive in Lebanon and carried out its deepest ground invasion in two decades and heavy bombardment.

Ben-Gvir calls on Netanyahu to reject US proposal
In a post on the X platform, the far-right minister urged Netanyahu not to agree to the deal suggested by the United States to end the airstrikes against the Iranian-backed group.
He wrote, "Mr. Prime Minister,
You said that a strong prime minister tells the President of the United States—'yes' when possible, and 'no'—when necessary.
This is the time to tell our friend, President Trump—'no'.
Now is the time to do what is required and necessary to strike Hezbollah, to unleash the hands of our fighters, and to restore security to the north."
