The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes unveils largest Ritz-Carlton suite in the United States

Recognizing the growing emergence of visitor arrivals from the Middle East, The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes has taken steps to ensure the comfort and needs of these travellers are met. Over recent years, the hotel has been host to many diplomatic leisure visits, mostly extended stays.
The new 4,293 square foot (400 square meter) Royal Suite is Orlando’s most elegant retreat for the world’s visiting elite. In addition to being Central Florida’s largest luxury suite, the Royal Suite is also the largest suite of its kind throughout the entire collection of Ritz-Carlton hotels in the United States. Offering the ultimate in style and luxury, the Suite features four bedrooms and four and one half bathrooms, a media room, a dining room seating 10 people with a fully outfitted pantry and numerous traditional and technological amenities. Located on the 12th floor, the spacious and sophisticated suite offers eight separate balconies overlooking breathtaking views of the lakes on property as well as the Greg Norman-designed golf course, which wraps around the resort.
Contemporary design influences, combined eclectically with crisp architectural detailing, compliment a soothing color palate that’s rich in aqua and yellow hues with hints of magenta for accenting and neutral tones. Light radiates throughout the Suite to infuse the entire space with a decadent, welcoming warmth and calming, contemporary aesthetic.
“We’re very pleased to unveil the new Royal Suite, which combines the best amenities and accommodations to create an inspired atmosphere unlike any other luxury experience in Orlando,” said Jon McGavin, general manager, The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes.
With plenty of living and closet space, including a spacious walk-in closet in the oversized master bedroom as well as seven high-definition televisions placed throughout (including the master bathroom), there is no lack of luxury in the Royal Suite. Taking the in-room technology experience to the next level is the 60-inch High Definition Plasma TV in the soundproof media room featuring Dolby Digital Surround Sound, which envelopes guests with sonic stimuli.
Guests can stay connected and keep the entire Suite at their command with the Wi-Fi Control Touch Panel, which provides instant, user-friendly access to lighting, temperature and control devices to customize the ambiance. iPod interface technology is installed throughout the Suite, which is also wired for Wi-Fi and high speed Internet access.
Dining experiences in the Royal Suite are certain to be brimming with culinary delights and hold no creative reservations. The pantry (with its own separate service entrance), features top-of-the-line appliances including a Sub-Zero Integrated Refrigerator, Miele Integrated Nespresso Espresso Machine, Wolf Integrated Drawer Microwave Oven and Miele Integrated Dishwasher.
Whether for business or personal travel, guests will find endless options for recreation and dining on property. Eleven dining options are available through out the resort including NORMAN’s by Chef Norman Van Aken featuring a fusion of Latin, Caribbean and Asian cuisine, and Primo by Chef Melissa Kelly where her “farm to fork” approach is brought to life with its on-site organic garden.
The Ritz-Carlton Spa is a 40,000 square-foot (3,716 square meter) retreat with 40 treatment rooms, full service salon, fitness center, private pool and spa café, ideal for a day of relaxation and private retreats. The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club features an 18-hole signature Greg Norman course and a Clubhouse complete with a restaurant, locker facilities and golf shop. Those who enjoy the outdoors will find the Outfitters program to be just the right fit for them, with a Fly Fishing school and Eco Tours on Shingle Creek, the headwaters to the Florida Everglades. For kids ages 5-12, the Ritz Kids club is the place to be – with board games, video games and arts & crafts.
Additional amenities are available upon request such as Arabic TV channels, private shopping experiences at nearby luxury retail mall and VIP tours at Orlando’s theme parks.
