Egyptian poet mohammad Ouf is behind recent disputes that had erupted between prominent Algerian singer Warda and Moroccan singer Laila Ghufran. Disputes began when the poet had taken the rights of the song “Khasimtak” (I’m angry with you) from Warda and gave it Laila when the production company ‘Rotana’ failed to pay him his set wages.

Mohammad stressed that ‘Rotana’, which produces Warda’s music, was due to pay him over three months ago and when he received no monetary compensation for the song, he decided to grant it to Laila, who expressed an interest to include it in her upcoming album scheduled for release in the first months of 2011.

According to the internet website MBC.net, Warda was infuriated with Mohammad, especially since she was going to include the song in her upcoming album, which will mark her return to the scenes and is scheduled to see the light in the beginning of 2011 as well.
