Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday spoke during the weekly cabinet meeting about last week's visit in Lebanon by the Iranian president. "We have recently heard new threats and blasphemies against Israel. Lebanon is soon becoming an Iranian satellite, but we will know how to defend ourselves."
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad stressed on Friday after his visit in Lebanoin his support for the "Lebanese people's courageous resistance." He said: "Iran supports the rest of the peoples in the area ... and the sons of southern Lebanon will determine the future of the region."
