Lebanese security forces evacuated Wednesday the Presidential Justice Palace in Baabda, near Beirut after receiving a false alarm by telephone from an unknown caller regarding a bomb in the building. A security spokesman said that "the internal security forces evacuated the Justice Palace in Baabda (11 km from Beirut) after it received an anonymous call to one of the offices in the building, according to which there is a bomb in place."
"The security forces dispatched explosives experts and sniffer dogs to the scene to conduct a comprehensive search and make sure the if there was a bomb or not."
Later, the source said that security forces had "searched the building and did not find any bomb."
In Baabda, political and security centers are located, including the Republican Palace and the Ministry of Defence.
