Air raids in Aleppo killed a couple and their four children, including a 6-month-old baby, on Sunday, AFP reports.
“An entire family was killed in air raids in Tal Rifaat in the north of Aleppo province. The parents and their children, aged 10, 6, 2, and 6 months were all killed,” said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
“Bashar Assad says he wants to kill terrorists. Is a 6-month-old baby a terrorist?” asked Observatory director Rami Abdel Rahman.
The Syrian opposition controls half of the city of Aleppo, while the other half is under government control, according to AFP.
Assad’s air force regularly drops barrel bombs on rebel-controlled areas of Aleppo, killing more than 2,000 civilians since January.
