A video has been shared on Facebook over the weekend appearing to show a Saudi man with a variety of wild animals sharing his home. In the clip, which has received much social media attention and over 23,000 views, the young man is shown playing with a number of different animals including lions, a bear and a monkey.

The young man in the video is Osama al-Daghiri, who regularly posts Snapchat videos of his eclectic animal-loving antics.

He has trained a selection of scary-looking beasts and in this video he manages, across nearly three minutes of footage, to get the lions to drink Turkish coffee, the monkey to grab a sleeping cat, the bear to correct a knocked-over chair and, perhaps not quite as impressively, a cockerel to sing on cue.

While he continues to laugh throughout, the video is alarming at times, as two fully grown lions pounce upon him, pressing him against a wall. It seems, though, that the animals love their owner, as he boisterously play fights with the small brown bear while it takes a shower.

Facebook commenters expressed their shock at the video’s contents, especially the tameness of the animals:

“It’s not natural, he really has trained them right!”

"He's mad!"

Commenters highlighted the intelligence of the animals in responding to his commands, as he jokes with the lions as if they were guests in his home, telling them that they should leave the pouring of the coffee to him, and getting them to leave the house when their ‘coffee morning’ is over:

“They understand Arabic better than our children!”

Others, who clearly have more wild tastes than the cute dog Instagram accounts most of us are satisfied with, found the animals adorable:

“Oh, they are so cute, especially the bear, he’s clearly gentle-hearted”

A couple of (deranged?) people even asked their families to let them have a similar set up:

“Mum, this is a lion, a tiger and a bear. We have to rear them at home!”

"How wonderful, there is nothing more beautiful. Myself, I want to bring them to live with us at home. Please let me! Or at least just one."

Some (sensible people) were scared:

“Oh God, this guy is dead inside, he doesn’t get scared at all! Its horrifying!”

Most scarily of all, commenters joked that the animals might get hungry and eat their owner:

"Tomorrow, as soon as they get hungry, they'll eat him"

Let’s hope, for this man’s sake, that he is feeding them well!
