Russian airstrikes have hit a US training ground for vetted Syrian rebels in Syria's Idlib province, Reuters reported Thursday.

Idlib-based Liwa Suqour al-Jabal's were hit with some 20 Russian missiles in two separate attacks on Thursday, the group's commander, Hassan Haj Ali, told the news agency.

This is the second day warplanes from Moscow have hit targets in the country. Both on social media and on the ground, groups are accusing Russia of ignoring areas controlled by Daesh (ISIS) and instead going after territory belonging to Free Syrian Army brigades, among them groups backed by the US and other Western powers.

Footage emerged Wednesday purporting to show airstrikes hitting areas across the Idlib province, in northwestern Syria. Have a look at one below. Via YouTube.
