Social media is well known for its odd trends, but one particularly bizarre hashtag has been raising eyebrows overnight as thousands of Saudis asked: “Would you marry a girl with no teeth?”
It is not clear who launched the wacky hashtag, which has so far been used over 29,000 times. Some have entered into a philosophical discussion on the topic:

This is not the first time Saudi Arabia has produced a weird trend on social media. In the past we have seen the oddly specific claim that Saudi women are the third most beautiful in the world, as well as widespread fear mongering that feminists are coming to steal away Saudi daughters.
Given that Saudis represent a massive 40% of Arab Twitter users, it is not surprising that once in awhile something strange should come up on Saudi Twitter. But this hashtag has left us a bit stumped!
