Controversial Kuwaiti singer Shams has recently been accused of mocking Islam after wearing a Muslim abaya, which is totally nothing like the usual skimpy outfits we've gotten used to seeing her in!
But in an interview with TV's daring talk show "Al Muttaham," the feisty starlet told hosts Raja Nasser Eddine & Rudolph Hilal that she's a proud Muslim and would never insult her religion.
She did, however, say that she meant to insult ISIS, whom she described as a "terrorist organisation that kills and slaughters in the name of God and the Quran," adding that she's definitely proud of mocking them!
On another "Islam-insulting" note, Shams was further accused of going against her religion after declaring her wish to donate her organs after her death; Islam has different opinions on this matter.
And since she couldn't find anywhere to do it in the Gulf, despite claiming that it's not prohibited there, Rudolph & Raja found her a specialised charity in Lebanon that deals with her heartwarming request.
Live on television and in front of millions of viewers, Shams signed official papers that made her organs the charity's property once she departs this world!
"Religion doesn't forbid you from donating your organs. It's nice to donate your body parts to someone who actually needs them," charitable Shams said.
