ALBAWABA- Did you know that cats are the second most popular pets in the entire world?
It might be easy to forget now that cats are very popular in today's world, just how much they were both revered and reviled, back in forth, in the past. Ancient Egyptians thought cats to be deities, while in other time periods, cats were associated with witches, and as a sign of bad luck. It is fair to say cats came a long way, and now more than ever cat lovers need to make sure we know how to care for them, so they'll live a happy, long life.
Life Expectancy
While life expectancy in cats can differ depending on the breed of the cat, Indoor cats live for around 13 to 17 years overall, some cats even manage to hit the 20 years mark, with the oldest cat to ever live, Creme, reaching 38 years old, which is great but that doesn't mean that as a cat owner, you shouldn't keep in mind ways to make sure your cat is being taken care of correctly, as the chances are any cat that can reach the age of 14 years or older is a cat being taken care of by a careful, well-informed owner.

You should always keep in mind that cats likely won't complain and let you know they feel that something is wrong with them, and the chances are you won't notice anything is wrong with them until it reaches a dangerous point, which is why it is important to regularly take them to the veterinarian. The earlier you can catch a medical problem, the better, and the same holds true for cats as well.

It goes without saying that what you feed your cats is important, and yet this isn't exactly an easy step for many as there are lots of choices offered to cat owners when it comes to which food they should feed their cats, and it can be hard to know which one to pick. It is important to pick a diet for your cat that is balanced and will give them all the nutrition their bodies need. For example, giving your cats dry food means that you'll need to make sure they drink a lot of water, cause otherwise they might risk dehydration, which might be why people, in general, say wet food tends to be better for cats than most dry foods.
Exercise
Cats sleep a lot, and it's easy to think of them as lazy and not giving much thought to making sure they get some kind of exercise. Just like with humans, a healthy body can go a long way even for a cat, additionally, to make sure your cats have a body like that is to make sure they move around, and not just sleep all day. The best way to do this is to play with them or give them a toy that will move that will make them move their body around.
