ALBAWABA As the blessed month of Ramadan approaches in 2024, Muslims around the world prepare themselves spiritually and mentally for this sacred period of fasting, prayer, and reflection. One of the essential aspects of preparing for Ramadan is making the intention, or du'a, to fast.
The du'a to intend to fast is a sincere declaration of one's intention to observe the fast during Ramadan solely for the sake of Allah. It is a deeply personal supplication, expressing one's commitment to fulfilling this pillar of Islam with sincerity and devotion.
Dua intend to fast in Ramadan
وَبِصَوْمِ غَدٍ نَّوَيْتُ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ
Wa bisawmi ghadinn nawaiytu min shahri ramadan
I intend to keep the fast for tomorrow in the month of Ramadan
نـَوَيْتُ صَوْمَ غـَدٍ عَـنْ اَدَاءِ فـَرْضِ شـَهْرِ رَمـَضَانَ هـَذِهِ السَّـنـَةِ لِلـّهِ تـَعَالىَ
Nawaitu sauma ghadin anadai fardu shahri ramadhana hazihissanati lillahitaala
I intend to do obligatory fast tomorrow in the month of Ramadan this year because of Allah
