As temperatures rise to over 40 degrees in parts of the city, residents are increasingly turning to indoor activities to make the most of their time. Pursuits which combine self-development and fun such as learning a new language are favourites among both adults and children this summer. Give yourself the ultimate language treat this summer at Eton Institute, UAE’s largest language and professional training centre, with special ‘Summer Super-Intensive’ courses, offers and cultural events for the public.

The signature Super Intensive Courses offered by Eton Institute are lauded as the fastest way to learn a language in Dubai. With a choice of six popular languages namely: Arabic, English, French, German, Italian, or Spanish, the immersion-based courses aim to get learners speaking a new language by the end of summer – just in time to impress friends and family. Eton Institute’s 60-hour Summer Super Intensive courses are held for 4 hours daily, Sundays to Thursdays, with convenient morning, afternoon and evening timings available.

In addition to language skills, individuals can also discover fascinating cultures around the world by attending free cultural evenings, movie nights, and etiquette workshops organized all through the summer. Aimed at encouraging cultural awareness in the community, these events will be free to attend and will be open to the public.

For younger members of the community, the Institute offers Kids Summer Courses where children can develop language skills by learning through games, music and creative expression. Offered in Arabic, English, French, Spanish, Italian and German, courses are divided into three age groups, 4-7, 8-11 and 12-16. Also offered is the interactive and “hands-on” American Sign Language course that will teach kids and teens an alternative method of communication through the basics of signing. The 15-hour Kids Summer Courses will be held from 10 July-28 July and from 07 August-25 August, Sundays-Thursdays, over 3 weeks. Priced at AED 825, classes will be conducted in small groups with the choice of morning or afternoon timings.
