Egyptian singer Shireen Abd Al Wahab has posted a poll on her official page on the internet social network Facebook, which has over a million member, to see which song she should film in the form of a music video from her latest album “Is’al Alaia” (Ask about me) that was released in January.
According to the London based Elaph, the song that received the highest number of votes was “Dah Mish Habeebi” (This is not the one I Love) followed by the songs “Nafsi Afham Leeh” (I want to know why) and “Hatrooh” (I want to know why).
The album had since its launch has witnessed the highest record sales in Egypt and had revived the record industry.
On a different note, Shireen had signed a contract to star in her first television drama that will be produced by Lebanese director Sadeq Al Sabah and is scheduled to be aired during the Ramadan season of 2013. The details of the drama in terms of the storyline and remaining cast will be announced at a later time.
