GOP employees pledge loyalty and allegiance to Bahrain's esteemed leadership

The General Organisation of Sea Ports (GOP) employees reaffirmed their pledge of loyalty to the Kingdom of Bahrain’s wise leadership and the nation at an exclusive ceremony initiated and organised by GOP staff. The event, held at GOP headquarters in Hidd, was attended by GOP’s Chairman Shaikh Daij bin Salman Al Khalifa, Members of the Board, Management and staff members.

All GOP employees, affixed their thumb impression and signed their names on three separate banners to pledge their unwavering loyalty, support and allegiance to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander, for their wise leadership and restoring peace and stability in the Kingdom. 

On this unique initiative by the employees, the Dirctor General Hassan Al Majed said: “Each and every one of us at the GOP is proud to take part in this special event which reflects our deep sense of gratitude and commitment towards our country’s wise leadership and our beloved homeland. We have full faith in the leadership’s patriotic contributions and their dedication in boosting stability and restoring peace in the Kingdom, and are similarly confident that Bahrain will overcome any crisis and emerge a stronger and more determined nation than before under their guidance.”

Serenaded by patriotic songs, Bahraini flags were distributed as well as red and white flowers and “We Love Bahrain” wrist bands to create a harmonious sense of pride amongst all in attendance and celebrate the country’s rich cultural heritage. The GOP offices were similarly decorated with Bahrain’s flags and posters of the leadership were placed in prominent locations within the building as part of the festivity.
