As integral part of the Friends of Jordan Festivals, Mövenpick Resort & Spa Dead Sea and Mövenpick Resort & Residences Aqaba recently hosted the Johann Strauss Orchestra Wiesbaden for two delightful concerts at the hotels.

The orchestra, conducted by Herbert Siebert and comprised of forty classical music virtuosos, was on an exclusive tour to Jordan.

“What a fantastic moment in the history of our hotels. After a grand concert at the Amman Citadel, we experienced a symphony orchestra, intimate, chamber music like surroundings” said Bruno Huber, General Manager and regional Manager Jordan.

The Johann Strauss Orchestra Wiesbaden has been founded by conductor Herbert Siebert in 1979. In its maximum cast it has the size of a Philharmonic orchestra. Their repertoire includes predominantly popular classical music. The Johann Strauss Orchestra Wiesbaden is one of Germany’s best known orchestras combining serious classical music with sophisticated entertainment - a mixture, which has become a brand mark within the music scene.
