Etihad appoints new country manager in Jordan

Etihad Airways has appointed Ms Jumana Jihad Amleh as the airline's new Country Manager for Jordan. 

Ms. Amleh, who has over 10 years' aviation experience, will manage all commercial operations in Amman. 

Peter Baumgartner, Etihad Airways' Chief Commercial Officer, said: "Jordan is a key market to Etihad's growth strategy and we are delighted to welcome Jumana to this important post. 

"Jumana has a wealth of experience having worked in a number of senior positions over the last 10 years in Jordan. As she is already well known within the travel industry in Jordan, her knowledge of the market will ensure that we work closely with our trade partners, while developing our corporate business and increasing our customer focus. ” 

Prior to joining Etihad Airways, Ms  Amleh held a variety of senior sales positions in Jordan working for Emirates Airline. 

Etihad commenced operations to Amman in December 2003 and currently operates 14 flights per week between its home base in Abu Dhabi and Amman.
