Zendaya, the star of the upcoming sci-fi epic Dune: Part Two, has set the internet on fire with her cheeky response to a question about her co-stars’ rizz.
Rizz, a slang term for charisma or attractiveness, was Oxford’s word of the year for 2023 and has become a popular way to describe someone’s appeal or seduction skills.
In a recent interview with BuzzFeed, Zendaya was asked who from the Dune 2 cast has the most rizz. The actress, who plays the Fremen warrior Chani in the film, joked that she had the most rizz, before naming her boyfriend and Spider-Man co-star Tom Holland, who is not part of the Dune franchise.
“Rizz is short for charisma, right? Everybody’s kind of got their own,” she said. “I think someone who has beautiful charisma, not on the Dune cast, but I know personally, works for me, is Mr. Tom Holland.”
Zendaya and Holland have been dating since 2021, but have kept their relationship mostly private. They confirmed their romance in July 2021, when they were photographed kissing in a car. Since then, they have occasionally shared glimpses of their love on social media and at red carpet events.
Fans of the couple, who are affectionately called “Tomdaya” by their supporters, were delighted by Zendaya’s rizz answer and took to Twitter to express their admiration. Many praised Zendaya for being loyal, confident, and funny, while others gushed over how cute and perfect the couple is.
Dune: Part Two, which is the sequel to the critically acclaimed Dune (2021), is scheduled to hit theaters in March 2024. The film will continue the story of Paul Atreides, who leads a rebellion against the evil Harkonnen and Corrino empires on the desert planet Arrakis. The film boasts an impressive cast, including Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Dave Bautista, Christopher Walken, and Javier Bardem.
