Music satellite channels had started airing the newest video clip for the duet “Al Mawd Al Da’e” which is performed by the Saudi artist Rashed Al Majed and Lebanese artist Yara. The video clip has a romantic atmosphere to it and takes place in 1969 when the first man stepped on the moon.
The story of the clip starts with a journalist played by “Rashed”, who is late for a meeting with his love because he fell asleep on his desk. He felt tired and over worked for covering the historical event and through his sleep he dreams of meeting his love played by “Yara”. On the other hand, his love “Yara” has been waiting for him forever.
According to the London daily Elaph, the duet “Al Mawed Al Da’e” is written by Sari, composed by Ahmad Al Harmi and distributed by Sirios. As for the clip it was directed by the talented Laila Kanan, who took the viewers back to 1969.
The filming of the clip lasted for two days and it took place in Beirut and Tripoli where the filming was done the latest video technology. Both artist were very careful to keep the filming under great secrecy so no information about it would be leaked from either one of them. They both wanted the clip to be a surprise and a gift for their fans during the festive season.
