Want to know what Lebanese singer Wael Jassar thinks of politics and religion? Well, that ain’t gonna happen!
In an interview on Rotana TV’s “Showbiz,” Wael refused to make any political or religious statements, explaining that politics should be left to politicians and religion should be left to preachers.
He was however open to discussing his music! According to Sayidaty.net, Wael’s about to release a new album containing religious recitals. What happened to the not-discussing-religion thing, dude??
Nonetheless, the album was written by Walid Khalaf and composed by Walid Said. “Arabica Music” will be producing the album.
But in contradiction to what he said on “Showbiz,” Wael said that the current time is quite appropriate for a religious music album, for it is the food of the soul and mind, and can influence people in a tremendous way.
He added: “The current chaotic conditions around the region call for people to get in touch with their spiritual side.”
Do you think Wael’s religious music will make a difference in your life?
