Well, the Shubbak Festival has wound-down, and the biennial festival isn’t coming down until July 2019. (We’re hyped.) The Festival’s a great time to promote and discuss the state of Arabic literature, and, luckily for us, the British Library’s posted those literary talks online.

You could do worse than listening to them. It’s a great tribute to Arabic literature and we’re hoping variations and spin-offs from the Shubbak Festival make their way out of London and into the Middle East proper.
