The Emoji Movie Cracks a Smile, but Dunkirk Continues to Dominate the Box Office

The World War II picture Dunkirk is the No. 1 movie in North America for a second weekend, earning $28.1 million in receipts, BoxOfficeMojo.com announced Sunday.

Coming in at No. 2 is The Emoji Movie with $25.7 million, followed by Girls Trip at No. 3 with $20.1 million, Atomic Blonde at No. 4 with $18.6 million and Spider-Man: Homecoming at No. 5 with $13.5 million.

Rounding out the top tier are War for the Planet of the Apes at No. 6 with $10.4 million, Despicable Me 3 at No. 7 with $7.7 million, Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets at No. 8 with $6.8 million, Baby Driver and No. 9 with $4.1 million and Wonder Woman at No. 10 with $3.5 million.
