The Dark Tower is the No. 1 movie in North America, earning $19.5 million in receipts this weekend, BoxOfficeMojo.com announced Sunday.
Coming in at No. 2 is Dunkirk with $17.6 million, followed by The Emoji Movie at No. 3 with $12.4 million, Girls Trip at No. 4 with $11.4 million and Kidnap at No. 5 with $10.2 million.
Rounding out the top tier are Spider-Man: Homecoming at No. 6 with $8.8 million, Atomic Blonde at No. 7 with $8 million, Detroit at No. 8 with $7.8 million, War for the Planet of the Apes at No. 9 with $6 million and Despicable Me 3 at No. 10 with $5.3 million.
