Taylor Swift is not only a pop superstar, but also a talented baker.
The “Karma” singer, who is dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, impressed his teammates by making them homemade Pop-Tarts during the football season, according to the team’s coach Andy Reid.
Reid revealed in an interview with NBC analyst and former quarterback Chris Simms that Swift baked the pastry treats for some of the Chiefs’ offensive linemen, who appreciated her gesture. “She knew right where to go,” Reid joked.
Reid, who has known Swift and her parents for years, praised the Grammy winner for being “so grounded for who she is” and for fitting in with the team. He also said that Swift enjoyed watching the games and supporting Kelce, who helped the Chiefs win their second consecutive Super Bowl earlier this month.
Swift, who has a well-known love of baking, has previously made cinnamon rolls for Kelce as a pregame meal, according to former NFL quarterback Bernie Kosar, who joined them for a gathering in December. Swift has also shared her recipes for chai sugar cookies and pumpkin chocolate chip cookies with her fans.
Swift and Kelce have been dating since September, when they were first spotted together at a Chiefs game. The couple has since been seen at various events, including the American Music Awards and the Super Bowl. Swift has also dedicated her song “Lover” to Kelce during one of her concerts.
Swift and Kelce have not commented publicly on their relationship, but sources close to them have said that they are very happy and in love. “Football is awesome, it turns out,” Swift told Time Magazine in December. “I’ve been missing out my whole life.”
