George Clooney and Amal Alamudding are reportedly revamping their new mansion in the UK, and are taking every precaution with their safety, according to a new report.

The couple, who married in a lavish ceremony in September last year, are getting a panic room put into the Berkshire period property.

“They are having a panic room installed,” a source told Us magazine.

“It’ll be fireproof, bombproof, and attack-resistant.”

George and Amal purchased the 17-century manor house is having the extra security put in not only to keep the Hollywood fans away, but also as extra measures because of Amal’s high-profile career as a human rights lawyer.

“Amal has high-profile clients in controversial cases,” the source claimed. “She needs to be secure.”

Last month, Amal was back in the courtroom at the European Court of Human Rights in France, and she had no problem dealing with the press gathered.

She gave an amazing response when a reporter from the Daily Telegraph joked that the paparazzi expected her to be wearing Versace after being seen at award ceremonies and red carpets with husband George Clooney.

Proving she has wit to go with everything else that makes her so amazing, she laughed: "I'm wearing Ede & Ravenscroft."

Of course, they have made legal robes in England since 1689 - and her sense of humour is another reason we love her.

She looked just the part wearing full court dress and a rather large smile on her face– clearly excited about getting her teeth stuck into the case.

Amal and her colleague Robertson will represent Armenia during a hearing on the case of Dogu Perincek, Chairman of the Turkish Workers Party, against Switzerland.

Perincek was found guilty of racial discrimination by a Swiss Police Court for having publicly denied the characterisation of genocide, without calling into question the existence of massacres and deportations of Armenians in 1915 in the Ottoman Empire, during various conferences in Switzerland in 2005.

Perincek claims that the Swiss courts breached his freedom of expression.

Well, no wonder George is so utterly enamoured with her.

He recently praised her when he picked up the an award for his outstanding contribution to entertainment at the Golden Globes.

"I've had a pretty good year myself...," he said.

"Listen: It's a humbling thing when you find someone to love - even better when you've been waiting your whole life. And when your whole life is 53 years, Amal, whatever alchemy it is that brought us together, I couldn't be more proud to be your husband."
